Web Based Learning unit at the Faculty of Science

The Web Based Learning (WBL) endeavours of the faculty of Science are localised at the Department of Science Education. The WBL unit may be contacted through Christine Holm .

The WBL endeavours include the following tasks:

  • Coordination and communication in relation to Faculty staff and Center for Web Based Learning, which oversees the University's main WBL tasks.
  • Collection and communication of WBL experience among Faculty staff. 
  • Dissemination of various web-based tools for teachers.

ABSALON - new e-learning platform at the University of Copenhagen starting February 2007

Starting February 2007, everyone at the University of Copenhagen has been given the option of using the system ABSALON which has been chosen as the future common electronic platform for all University courses.

As a start, the Faculty of Science has launched a small number of pilot projects using the new platform. More information is available regarding the new platform at the CWBL home page.
