Knowledge generated from two projects on laboratory education at the university level are synthesized and contextualized. The first is a large project aimed at improving learning in the laboratory, which gathers perspectives from students, faculty, and a pharmaceutical sciences study program. The second one is similar, but focusing mainly on pre-laboratory, curriculum development, and the nature of science.
