Young Peoples' Selection, Non-selection and retention

The study follows a group of students from six science and technology oriented upper secondary school classes through their choice of study, their reflections and experiences in this process in order to understand what elements and factors influence their selection and/or avoidance of S&T studies.

The project has a duration of 5 years and is conducted as a PhD-project througout the first three years. The researchers are Lars Ulriksen, Lene Møller Madsen, Henriette Tolstrup Holmegaard, and Philipp Lorenzen, all from the Department of Science Education at the University of Copenhagen.
