Dialogic teaching in science museum teaching

Investigation of the ability of dialogic teaching to create a dialogic discourse in science museum teaching

The purpose of the project is to develop and evaluate a theory-based teaching strategy in science museums for high school students, which is built around dialogic processes. The goal for the developed strategy is to impact the students conversations towards a dialogic discourse. The intention is that the teaching strategy will provide a "best practice" that can inspire and guide the development of similar strategies in other museum contexts.

The project is carried out by Nana Quistgaard, Department of Science Education, in cooperation with Pernille Hjort and Lars Green Dahl, the Danish Natural History Museum.
