Probability and Statistics Knowledge of Prospective Upper Secondary Mathematics Teachers in China and Denmark

Abstract

My PhD project investigates the probability and statistics knowledge of prospective upper secondary mathematics teachers in China and Denmark. This presentation will briefly review my completed coursework and publications, then focus on data collection and ongoing data analysis. Data have been collected at the University of Copenhagen, East China Normal University, and Ningxia Normal University, with approximately 300 valid responses. I am currently analyzing the data. This presentation will summarize my progress, current challenges, and plans for the next stage of the project.
