Models and Modelling in STEM Education
How are models and modelling understood and used across different STEM subjects in Danish upper secondary education?
The project Models and Modelling in STEM explores how models and modelling are understood and used across different STEM subjects in Danish upper secondary education. It investigates similarities and differences between the disciplines of biology, chemistry, and physics. Uffe Jankvist (DPU), Morten Misfeldt, Maria Kirstine Østergaard (DPU), and Mathilde Kjær Pedersen (IND) bring complementary expertise in theory and practice within STEM education, combining research-based insights with the hands-on development of interdisciplinary teaching activities through design-based collaboration with upper secondary school teachers. Its aim is to strengthen students’ understanding of models and modelling, support teachers in STEM education, and contribute new research and practical tools, including instructional materials and videos for classroom use. <span class="EOP Selected SCXW152605036 BCX0" data-ccp-props="{" 335559739":0}"="335559739":0}"">
