This presentation introduces the strategic initiative of the University of Copenhagen to develop the integration of research and teaching, and its historical context. These efforts are related to a concern with developing research-based teaching at the Department of Landscape Architecture, drawing attention to the intersections of research and inquiry, on the one hand, and design processes, on the other.
