My research is centered around identity, gender, and equity in upper secondary school. I explore how young women relate themselves to mathematics and science during their upper secondary education at STX with a particular focus on the transition into the education, the choice of mathematics and science subjects and how young women's science identities and mathematics identities develop and interact with thoughts on the future.

I have a background in mathematics and philosophy from Aarhus University and have also taught as an upper secondary school teacher at both STX and HTX. I have taught philosophy of mathematics, the history of mathematics and philosophy of computer science at AU and the history of computer science UCPH.

I have supervised bachelor projectors in the history of mathematics and philosophy of mathematics, as well as co-supervised a thesis in mathematics education.
