Tenure Track Appraisal seminar for Joeri Witteveen

The Department of Science Education at the University of Copenhagen is pleased to invite you to the Final Appraisal Seminar for Associate Professor of History and Philosophy of Science, Joeri Witteveen.

Programme

15.55-16.00 Short welcome and introduction by the associate dean for research (seminar chair) 
16.00-16.45

45 min presentation by the candidate consisting of the following:   

    1. Presentation of the research conducted during the tenure track period and its relation to the state of the art (about 30 minutes)  
    2. Presentation of future research visions (about 7-8 minutes)  
    3. Reflections about teaching experience and presentation of visions for future teaching development (about 7-8 minutes)  
16.45 – 16.50 Short break  
16.50 – 17.10 Research questions by external opponent, Professor Kärin Nickelsen
17.10 – 17.30 Research questions by external opponent, Associate Professor Matt Haber
17.30 – 17.45 Questions to teaching experience and visions by head of studies, Frederik Voetmann Christiansen
17.45 – 18.00 Questions regarding future ideas and visions, collaboration, international networking etc. by head of department and associate dean for research  
18.00 – 18.15 Evaluation by Tenure Track appraisal committee (closed session)  
18.15 – 18.30 Concluding evaluation and conversation between candidate and Tenure Track appraisal committee in front of the audience. Presentation of final recommendation that will be forwarded to the dean.
