"In this dissertation, Supported by Stories—An Exploration of a Story-based Learning Activity at Schools and at the Danish Science Centre Experimentarium, I explore how students use fictive stories as tools for learning. The primary focus is the nature of the story when it is applied to a learning setting. The insights collected in this project imply that the story carries certain properties like structure and motivation that support students during learning activities. However, students also perceive the story differently from traditional storytelling when it becomes educational."
